I’d like to start off by saying this is an explicit podcast for adults 18 and over. We are readers of dark romance, and the books we discuss our will include some potentially disturbing material. If you routinely clutch your pearls, this is not the podcast for you.
Nat and I are just two avid readers who enjoy talking about the books we love. We curl up weekly with a glass (or two😏) of wine and our book of the week and we just gab and have fun while we talk. We would love for you to join us!
Nat is a tired but happy smut loving mom of 2 who is somehow getting to live out her own Happily Ever After with her very own hot A.F. Alphahole husband! She’s a true book nerd at heart, books have been her safe haven and friend from an early age, especially after moving to a new country and being the alienated, weird, curly haired foreign kid. She fell in love with Dark Romance at the tender age of 15 after stumbling upon Christine Feehan’s Dark (Carpathian) Series and hasn’t looked back since!
After discovering a plethora of amazing Romance Podcasts Nat realized that there weren’t any Dark Romance Podcasts to help scratch her craving for all things Dark Romance… and so an idea of Trigger Warning Romance was born! Her main goal was to have a safe and fun space for all Dark Romance lovers to get together and geek out over their favorite books, authors and tropes! She’s unbelievably lucky to have met Tori and the rest of our Trigger Tribe and to have the opportunity to be creative and share all the books that bring her joy with our little community!

A native of northeastern Tennessee, Tori moved to the winter tundra of western New York almost a decade ago after helplessly falling for a guy and his girlfriend. She does that a lot. Falling, I mean. Tori is a total klutz. Anyway, ten years later and she’s still living with that same guy and her two cats, Azalin and Copper. Most of her time is spent reading, knitting, and catering to her furbabies.
Now for the important part that y’all care about – Tori stumbled across dark romance in the mid 1990’s with Christine Feehan’s Dark series (aka her Carpathian series) and Lynsay Sands’ Argeneau novels. It wasn’t until the COVID pandemic that she found the darker variety with the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep series by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti. Talk about a wake up call! Those twisted series remain two of her favorites to date. Other favorite authors include Drethi Anis, Zoe Blake, Dylan Page, and T.L. Hodel to name just a few. There are quite literally too many great authors to name them all.
